Long ago Jaeger-LeCoultre built their reputation as masters of watch design with iconic models like the Reverso. The company continued to carry on the tradition with watches like this one.
Today's offering showcases this elegantly styled dress LeCoultre made for the U.S. market. From the striking, solid gold case with its dramatic case hoods which have an Art Deco look to the classic two-tone dial and high-grade Jaeger-LeCoultre movement, this watch has both the quality and look of a pleasing vintage LeCoultre.
Originally designed for men, the watch would look great on a woman as well. It was presented to Bill Mallon, the President of the National Automobile Dealer's Association at the time.
The 14K gold LeCoultre case is in better than near mint condition. The silver dial has been previously restored. And the LeCoultre movement is keeping time.
Our watchmaker has freshly cleaned and oiled the watch, and we have installed a new mineral glass crystal. For the finishing touch we have installed a new crocodile strap.
Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
